Ms. Velda (Vanessa) Morris is an accomplished executive and Founder dedicated to advancing innovation, inclusion, and collaboration across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). With extensive experience in program strategy, partnerships, and workforce development, she leads initiatives that connect education, industry, and community for lasting impact.
A pioneer in robotics education, she designed one of the nation’s first professional development programs for teachers and led major regional competitions that broadened participation in engineering and technology. These experiences shaped her strategic vision for equitable access and cross-sector collaboration.
Ms. Morris serves as Vice President of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Southern New Jersey, and holds leadership positions, Chair Elect, SME Chapter 15 and the Pennsylvania STEM Girls Collaborative Project (PSGCP)—driving innovation through partnerships that prepare the next generation of diverse STEAM leaders.
